It is the perfect first trip with Himalaya Highlanders if you want big mountain views without a long drive.
Pickup from Dehradun and a scenic 100 km drive through Kalsi and the Yamuna valley.
Reach Chakrata. Check in, freshen up and grab a light lunch (own cost).
Short drive to the Tiger Fall trail. Walk through dense deodar forest to the 100-ft fall.
Head back to the camp/hotel and settle in.
Bonfire lit — tea, snacks and music under a sky full of stars.
Pahadi dinner served. Overnight stay in the mountain air.
Early wake-up and a quick breakfast.
Drive to the Moila Top / Budher Cave trailhead and begin the 2.5 km walk through meadows.
Reach Moila Top (3,049 m) for sweeping views of Swargarohini and Bandarpoonch.
Explore Chakrata market — rajma, buransh juice, local honey and souvenirs (lunch own cost).
Short drive to Chirmiri Sunset Point for golden hour over the valley.
Arrive back in Dehradun with a phone full of photos.
